Semax / Care notebook

The care questions inside “program”

Question note / Finding care

Start with what brought you here.

You can ask about Semax without asking for Semax. Bring the concern, the offer you saw and the questions you want answered.

Choose how to have the conversation

An in-person clinic offers a room to talk in. A licensed telehealth service offers a way to talk at a distance. Ask which kind of assessment suits your concern.

For care by video, phone or messages, your doctor or other treating health professional must have permission to practise wherever you are when the visit happens. That means a licence or another legal form of permission. This guidance comes from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a US department, and was checked September 26, 2026. What am I trying to get from the visit?

A clear account of the concern, the options and the reason for any recommendation. Write down what a useful answer would look like to you.

Bring a short note

  • The concern in your own words, and how it affects your day.
  • When it began and when you notice it most.
  • Your medicines and supplements, with their names.
  • The wording of any Semax offer you want to discuss.

Start by reading that note. It is fine to say, “I do not know what this term means.”

Questions to keep beside you

  • What do you think is causing my concern?
  • Which human study supports this option for me?
  • Is there an approved treatment for the problem we are discussing?
  • What exact product are we talking about, and who makes it?
  • What is its current US status?
  • What would follow-up involve, and what would I pay?

Approved treatments already exist for reduced blood flow to the brain, migraine and severe facial nerve pain, says the FDA review checked September 30, 2026. FDA’s Semax review

Do I have to decide during the visit?

You can ask for the recommendation and fee details in writing, then take time to read them.
